Formed in September 1981 and still guided by neighbors — the story of the Indian Lakes Association, how it's run, and how to reach us.
The Indian Lakes Association was formed in September 1981 as a non-profit corporation, organized to serve the best interests of the homeowners within our Virginia Beach community. More than four decades later, that founding purpose still guides everything we do.
Today the association is home to 36 streets and courts and the neighbors who live along them — all sharing a commitment to a well-kept, friendly, and welcoming place to call home.
Welcoming You Home. It's more than a tagline — it's how we aim to treat every resident, new and longtime alike.

Indian Lakes is governed by an elected Board of Directors — all of them Indian Lakes homeowners — who volunteer their time to guide the association. The Board partners with our onsite management team to care for the community's common elements. The Board convenes quarterly, and every member is encouraged to take part.
Fellow Indian Lakes homeowners, elected by the membership, who set policy and steward the association's common elements on behalf of every resident.
Our onsite team handles the day-to-day — reservations, records, and resident questions. Association Manager Robin Butcher can be reached at the Clubhouse office.
The clubhouse, the swimming pool, and the shared spaces that make the neighborhood ours — maintained and improved for members to enjoy.
Architectural guidelines and community standards help protect property values and keep Indian Lakes looking its best, block after block.
Quarterly meetings, announcements, and a members-only portal keep residents informed and welcome every new homeowner to the community.
The onsite management office is located at the Clubhouse. Reach out with any question about the community, your account, the clubhouse, or the pool — we're glad to help.
